We live in an amazing day and age. We're old enough to remember when the David Wilkerson's Christian movie (1969), The Cross and the Switchblade was released in movie theaters. A Bible bookstore in those days typically carried mostly Bibles and a relatively small assortment of Christian books and Christian music. Now we have a plethora of Christian products to choose from that help us along our Christian walk.

We've always had hearts for helping others along their walk by recommending good Christian books and resources. In fact, Russ majored in Christian Education at Northwest Nazarene University and Janelle has been involved in Christian education as well at Nazarene Theological Seminary, and also as a Children's Pastor.

We (Russ & Janelle) started The GOOD BOOK Company in 1987 shortly after relocating back to the beautiful Pacific Northwest in Centralia, Washington - half way between Seattle and Portland. In 2007 we became The GOOD BOOK Company LLC.

Our very first product was producing WordSlides™ for a local church to use in their worship services. We then developed a set of six B&W posters that were inspired from Scripture reading and also an inspirational quote from St. Francis of Assisi, "Preach the Gospel at all times... if necessary use words." These posters have now expanded to full color photo art prints.

We are especially excited about our new Glory Scapes™ product. They are inspirational music and Scripture videos on DVD for use at home and church and they make exceptional gifts. We hope you'll agree they are an inspirational combination of God's beatiful creation, hymns people cherish, and beloved Scripture.

We have moved forward from our beginning days to selling more and more great Christian products on the Internet - an incredible invention and resource.  We choose to use the Internet for good.

One of our favorite, non-Scripture quotes is that of John Wesley who said, "Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as ever you can."
